Leadership & ProStaff Team
The Leadership & ProStaff Team is a cohesive unit designed to be a power pack of the organization's most trusted youth staff and our communities' strongest educational professionals.
ProStaff are professional educators that work in schools and some even teach the students we have at camp!
The other leaders are high school and college youth, including Head Counselors, Assistant Camp Director, Director of Camper Experience, and the Manager of Food Services, and they are outstanding youth staff who have served with CoolineKids for several years.
Executive Director
Christian Sbragia (he/him) - ProStaff
Leading Camp, Staff Wellness, CrewCamp, Partnerships & Funding
In 2013, Christian founded CoolineKids to serve EPA youth, and a decade later, he has worked as an educator & instructor in local schools with over 1,500 children and teens and served in local, county, state, and federal governments advocating for equity in education and the nonprofit sector. Christian is obtaining his BA in Ethnic Studies, Genders & Sex in Communities of Color degree. Learn more about him here.
Program Director

Leading Programming, Family Liason, Supporting Camp Behavior & Summer Interns
An experienced education and youth development professional dedicated to supporting the program, camper needs and families/community. The Program Director can operate the summer site in the absence of the Executive Director and is responsible for staff management, site operations and program leadership when the Executive Director is on breaks. During the times when they are not the site leader, the support camper behavior, summer interns and mentoring high school and other ProStaff.

Anthony Gamino (he/him)

Anthony Gamino is thrilled to join CoolineKids Summer Camps as the new Assistant Camp Director. Known for his talkative and humorous nature, Anthony's vibrant personality adds a special touch to his role. He is also deeply interested in investing and aims to expand his knowledge in this field with the guidance of Peninsula Bridge, alongside an incredible manager and mentor, Christian. Currently a junior at Burlingame High School in San Mateo. Excited to embark on his third year with CoolineKids in 2024, Anthony hopes to continue contributing his skills and passion to the camp's mission. Learn more about him here

Leadership Team Training
Both ProStaff and Youth Leadership staff attend this training. In addition to those trainings, the leadership team will have unique retreats and dinners throughout the winter and spring to bond and connect.

Training is facilitated by our Executive Director, but is led in a conversation-based learning experience that focuses on the engagement of youth leaders and adult professionals sharing their collective knowledge.
