Jazmine Gutierrez

Jazmine has always been involved in her community, but became especially active when she began high school. In her junior year, she began volunteering at The Primary School, working with children from East Palo Alto. Jazmine heard about Cooline and got really interested since she knows many kids usually use their phones over the summer and she knew this program would help get kids active and having fun! As an Assistant Counselor, Jazmine would make sure that her campers where participating in the activities and encourage them to stay engaged in Cooline’s programming. Jazmine is excited to be a leader at Cooline this year because she will be able to share innovative ideas to make camp even more for fun campers and design solutions to keep everyone safe as the Operations Coordinator.
